IOM/ UN Migration Agency Workshop on Migration Data

In October I was honoured to join a fantastic group of experts to discuss with the IOM's new Policy Hub migration data for the future. The core objective of the workshop was to collect migration data experts’ views on how migration data could be better captured and used to inform effective migration policies and good migration governance. On 3-4 May I had the privilege to attend the Nuremberg International Principles Academy conference in Historic Courthouse 200 to speak on Protection of Refugees and Migrants Vulnerabilities. EASO Scenario analysis: The future of international protection in the EU+ by 2030

In February I participated as an invited expert in EASO's Scenario analysis: The future of international protection in the EU+ by 2030 led by ZPunkt. In my group we discussed issues of global order, emerging actors in the global economy, and migration management. College of Europe Migration Training at the European Court of Auditors

On behalf of the College of Europe, I was privileged to deliver a training on migration at the European Court of Auditors. As migration funding has risen substantially in the EU, there is of course a large increase in the number of audits necessary on EU External Action on migration.
